ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – As the final winter North American International Auto Show in Detroit continues, the focus will shift to the northwest by the end of the month.
Officials with Gentex announced on Monday that the Zeeland-based specialty parts maker will be the presenting sponsor of the Michigan International Auto Show. The four-day event, which runs from January 31st through February 3rd at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, features many of the same exhibits and vehicles currently displayed at Detroit’s Cobo Center.
In making the announcement, Gentex’ officials said that their own booth will feature the highly-modified Pure Michigan 2018 Chevrolet Colorado small truck equipped with many of the company’s digital vision, connected car, dimmable glass and other specialty technologies.
With the NAIAS moving to a June date in 2020, there has been no word from MIAS organizers as to the future of their event.
