HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Construction season isn’t slowing down in the city of Holland.
There are several projects set to start today, Tuesday, September 13. According to the city of Holland, work will begin on Graafschap Road from 40th Street south to the city limits. Milling of the road will begin first followed by widening of the shoulders. Paving is scheduled for Friday, September 16, and the top surface is scheduled for Saturday, September 17. One lane of Graafschap Road will remain open to traffic with the road completely closed to traffic when the top surface paving occurs.
A road that is lightly traveled will have brief closures and no delays are expected on West 3rd Street between Pine and River Avenues. Closure times are 8-9 a.m. and again from 2-3 p.m. Barricades will be put into place when trucks arrive to deliver large equipment to the Board of Public Works Pine Avenue Substation construction site.
