LANSING, MI (WHTC) – It’s three strikes and you’re out for Holland at the Governor’s Energy Excellence Awards.
The city of Holland, along with GDW Farms and Venntis Technologies, all failed to secure honors in the annual competitive program that spotlights “extraordinary” efforts to reduce energy waste. Although all three were “honored” in a press release from the Governor’s office, none came away with an award in eight categories during a Thursday afternoon ceremony in Lansing.
The City of Holland was vying for the Best Communication or Education Program; GDW Farms was seeking honors in the Best Projects Agriculture category; and Venntis Technologies aimed for Innovator of the Year.
