ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – More than 250 new engineering-related jobs have been pledged to the Holland area after a parts supplier announced plans to expand into Holland’s North Side.
JR Automation Technologies will spend 5.6 million dollars at an undisclosed location, adding to its current presence along the Lakeshore. The expansion is part of the growth of the company of 475 percent over the past seven years in supplying parts for the automotive, aerospace, medical device, pharmaceutical, food processing and construction industries. A state Business Development Program performance-based grant, work by Lakeshore Advantage and a 12-year tax abatement by Holland Township helped JR Automation make this decision.
A timetable for exactly where and when this expansion will take place is pending.
