HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – One of Holland’s north-south arteries will be blocked off somewhat today.
Based on a memo sent by City Manager Ryan Cotton sent this afternoon, southbound Van Raalte Avenue will be closed, starting at 3 PM, between 18th and 19th streets. This is to accomodate Holland BPW crews making emergency repairs on a sanitary sewer structure.
Cotton added that the affected roadway should reopen to a gravel surface “later tonight,” but that there will be “brief closures” when crews restore the asphalt road surface.
