HOLLAND (WHTC) — Two people have been arrested and charged in the April 5, 2016, armed robbery which resulted in the deaths of two dogs, according to Allegan County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives with the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two suspects from the armed robbery that occurred in the 4800 block of 118th Avenue in Clyde Twp., that resulted in the killing of two dogs.
Michael Joseph-Otis Mills,35, was arrested on Saturday, April 16, 2016, and arraigned on five charges: armed robbery; assault with intent to rob; first-degree home invasion and two counts of killing animals.
Jamie Lynn McDonald, 40, was arrested Wednesday, April 13, 2016, and arraigned on three charges: armed robbery, assault with intent to rob, and home invasion.
Both remain in Allegan County Jail on $100,000 bonds.
Detectives continue investigating to determine whether or not there are any other suspects. Police believe the incident was not random and that the suspects had prior knowledge of the existence and location of the items stolen.
