SUNCHEON CITY, SOUTH KOREA (WHTC) – Holland’s annual signature event has earned a worldwide honor. This past Saturday, members of the World Tulip Summit Society, meeting in South Korea, awarded the Tulip Time Festival a 2015 World Tulip Award as one of the top five tulip festivals worth traveling for in the world. Former festival board chairman Nathan Bocks accepted the accolade for Tulip Time, and he was also inducted into the WTTS World Order of the Tulip that recognizes individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the promotion and/or celebration of the tulip as a symbol of world friendship.
