HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Hope College’s student newspaper is reporting that campus police and Holland Public Safety detectives are investigating a reported sex crime that occurred last Friday. “The Anchor” says that an unnamed female student claimed that she was the victim of “unwanted sexual contact” with a man at the school’s Dow Center. No arrests have been made thus far. The college and Public Safety are not commenting on any aspect of the newspaper’s report, saying that a criminal investigation remains open, but school officials did say that students are encouraged to report suspicious activity promptly to campus or city law enforcement.
