HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Work on renovating East 16th Street near the US-31 junction in Holland continues with scheduled milling work this evening. Starting about 10 PM, that street will be completely closed between Century Lane and Waverly Road for about eight hours. Tomorrow night at 9 PM, another closure is planned to complete the paving process. US-31 will not be affected other than barricades preventing turns onto 16th Street. Any weather delays will push back the closures until Sunday night. This work is expected to lop off a week from the overall project schedule, according to city streets officials.
