WEST OLIVE, MI (WHTC) – Detectives in two jurisdictions are involved in a pre-dawn crime spree today, spread across Allendale and Jenison, that may have involved over two dozen unlocked vehicles burglarized and tens of thousands of dollars of property stolen, including two handguns.
A homeowner who chased a white man, about six feet tall with a bushy goatee, out of his residence with a shotgun, in a subdivision near Lake Michigan Drive and 78th Avenue, sparked the investigation that eventually led to some evidence found in a Grand Rapids neighborhood near John Ball Park around dawn.
No suspects are in custody, and any tips to Silent Observer are welcome.
