EAST LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Fennville is the only local high school participating in two pilot sideline concussion testing programs run by the Michigan High School Athletic Association for the upcoming prep sports season that will each monitor about 10 thousand student-athletes statewide. The MSHAA is using a three-pronged effort in concussion care this academic year that also includes mandatory record-keeping and providing insurance protection for all high school and middle school participants at no extra cost.
