SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A man who robbed the Consumers Credit Union branch on Phoenix Road in South Haven yesterday afternoon may be connected to a Kalamazoo County bank robbery this past Monday. The description of the suspect – a Caucasian with a stocky build, wearing a dark-colored hat, sunglasses, a dark-colored Carhart-type coat and tan pants – along with a getaway vehicle described as an older-model, white Chevrolet Impala, are similar in both incidents. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash yesterday and remains at large; nobody was hurt. Tips to South Haven police are welcome.
