UNDATED (WHTC) – More high school basketball action is scheduled along the Lakeshore tonight with a number of girls/boys doubleheaders planned, depending on the weather. Holland Christian welcomes South Christian to the Holland Civic Center, with Greg Chandler providing play-by-play coverage of the boys’ game around 7:10 PM on 1450 WHTC. The Delton Kellogg at Saugatuck twin bill is a casualty of the winter storm, with the Panthers ordered to stay home by their district officials; the games have been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 8th. Other doubleheaders include Hamilton at Hopkins, Fennville at Eau Claire and Calvary hosting Grand River Prep at Holland Christian High. Single games include Holland’s boys home to Cedar Springs, Black River’s boys entertaining the Holland Wave homeschoolers, Holland’s girls at Sparta, West Ottawa’s girls at Cedar Springs, and Zeeland West’s girls at Reeths-Puffer.

Grand Valley State split a basketball doubleheader at Hillsdale last night. Allie Dittmer scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as the host Lady Chargers took the opener, 54-47. Luke Ryskamp tossed in 15 points as the visiting Laker men won the nightcap, 75-49. Both of GVSU’s teams are at Walsh tomorrow afternoon.

Dwayne Wade led a balanced attack with 20 points as the Bulls downed the visiting San Antonio Spurs last night, 95-91. Chicago hosts the Miami Heat at the United Center tomorrow evening.
The Detroit Pistons are in Minneapolis to face the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.
