HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Ottawa County Fair is ready to roll and new this year is the Bud Light Beer Tent.
Every night at the fair you’ll be able to enjoy a cold one while listening to live music by a different performer each evening. The beer tent is open from 6-10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 5-11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
There were several members of the Ottawa County Fair Board of Directors who were on the fence about having a beer tent including Board President Jeff Myaard.
Will it drive more people to the fairgrounds? “Absolutely. To be honest, I was one of the people on the fence. I don’t want people to come just strictly for a beer. This is for an evening. This is for an event. It’s gonna be well monitored. We want the people to enjoy, that’s why we added the live music. Great beer, great fellowship, that’s whay we’re looking for, Just a lot fo fun for everybody.” Myaard told WHTC News.
Also news this year to the fair is the Monster Truck Show and the Mud Run. Stay up-to-date on the fair by following them of Facebook or their website.
