HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — International Relations Commission members voted unanimously to postpone the 2020 International Festival of Holland originally scheduled for Aug. 15, according to a statement emailed to media on May 14, 2020.
“At the forefront of our decision-making process was the health and safety of the attendees,” said Alissa Wilson, Chair of the International Relations Commission. The 2021 International Festival of Holland is scheduled for August 21, 2021.
Last year marked the 25th Anniversary of the Queretaro Fountain launching thefirst International Festival of Holland. The Festival attracted more than 2,500attendees with cultural performers and vendors celebrating the art, dance, food,market goods, and music of our world.
“The International Relations Commission is planning alternative project(s) that will continue the tradition of celebrating the cultural diversity in Holland, said Jacklyn Humbarger, Vice Chair of the International Relations Commission.
The details of the upcoming project will be announced this summer as plans are finalized.
