HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 21-year-old Holland woman is behind bars early Wednesday, May 13, 2020, facing multiple charges on suspicion of five traffic crashes — four of them in Holland, according to Holland Police Capt. Keith Mulder.
No one was hurt in any of the crashes, Mulder said, and there was no police pursuit.
In the four Holland crashes, she allegedly hit a vehicle at 32nd Street and Washington Avenue; a sign at Michigan Avenue and Cherry Street; a utility pole (with wires) at Central Avenue and 24th Street; and a MAX bus at 20th Street and Columbia Avenue.
Police stopped her near the entrance to Menards on 16th Street just west of US 31. Police found a 20-year-old man riding as a passenger in the car.
Among the charges she faces: operating while under the influence of drugs; multiple hit-and-run crashes, and driving without a license.
