HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 1,315 calls for service during the month of May in Holland Township.
That’s according to the monthly report to township officials by Sheriff’s Sgt. Brad Bennett.
The Sheriff’s paramedic unit responded to 164 medical calls.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies investigated 101 traffic crashes, made 204 traffic stops and issued 147 traffic citations. All those numbers are slightly higher than in April, when the full effects of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s “stay home” order was in place.
Most of the figures are lower than at the same time in 2019 and in 2018, according to the county’s data.
