HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 52-year-old Eaton Rapids woman suffered back and hip injuries and went by ambulance to North Ottawa Community Hospital via ambulance just before 10 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill.The crash happened, Dill said, when a 20-year-old Allendale woman, driving a 2009 Audi north on US-31, hit the passenger side of a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox turning from southbound US-31 to 158th Avenue in West Olive.
The 53-year-old Eaton Rapids man driving the Equinox couldn’t see the Audi because the Audi’s headlights were not on, Dill said. This crash occurred about 45 minutes after sunset, he said.Everyone involved had been wearing seatbelts.
