HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) — Michigan State Police troopers from the Wayland Post are investigating a single-vehicle injury crash that happened just after 10:15 a.m. Saturday on Deep Lake Road in Barry County’s Yankee Springs Township.
The driver, a 30-year-old Grand Rapids man, was driving east when he lost control of his vehicle, which struck a tree. The man, seriously injured, according to police, was airlifted to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, where he remains in serious condition.
Police indicated speed may have been a factor in the crash, but alcohol and drugs do not.
