Two Jenison residents were hurt when their cars collided just before 8:45 this morning, in Georgetown Township, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities.
Police found a 56-year-old Jenison woman had stopped at the intersection of 10th Avenue and Cottonwood Drive then pulled out to turn south of Cottonwood.
But she drove into the path of a vehicle headed north, with a 52-year-old Jenison woman at the wheel.
The driver of the second car went by ambulance to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, police said.
