HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 16-year-old Grand Haven boy hit a pedestrian early Wednesday morning, Jan. 22, 2020, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Matt Wildfong.
He’d been driving south, on 160th Avenue near Robbins Road in Grand Haven when he hit the 33-year-old Grand Haven man.
The pedestrian suffered minor injuries, Wildfong said, and went by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
The driver told police that he was unable to see the pedestrian, wearing all-dark clothing, during the pre-dawn incident.
A bike path/sidewalk runs along 160th, Wildfong said, and had been cleared of snow.
