HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A Thursday morning three-vehicle pileup on Holland’s North Side hospitalized two persons.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Matt Wildfong didn’t identify anyone involved in the collision at the intersection of 120th Avenue and Riley Street shortly after 8 AM. It appears that a southbound vehicle attempted to drive through on a yellow light and was struck by a northbound vehicle looking to turn left into Riley Street, which then careened into a vehicle behind it that was also looking to turn left.
The drivers of the two vehicles that were initially involved in the crash – a 44-year-old Holland man and a 59-year-old Holland woman – were taken to “area hospitals” for treatment of minor injuries; the third driver involved, a 39-year-old Holland man, was not hurt. The incident remains under investigation.
