GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A 21-year-old Hudsonville woman was hospitalized late on Sunday morning following a single-vehicle crash north of Jenison.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Matthew Wildfong, the unnamed motorist lost control of her vehicle trying to negotiate curves in the road while driving eastbound on Fillmore Street west of 28th Avenue. Her vehicle rolled over and blocked both lanes of the roadway, necessitating a closure of the route from Jenison to Allendale for some time after the 10:30 AM incident.
The motorist was taken to an unnamed hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries as the crash remains under investigation.
