HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A Wyoming woman went by ambulance to hospital after a head-on crash on Friday April 24, 2020.
It happened just before 8:30 p.m., according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brandon Tubergan, near the intersection of Main Street and Kenowa Avenue in Georgetown Township.
Police found a 30-year-old Grandville man had been driving a 2002 Chevrolet Astro van north on Main, and failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The van crossed the center line, moving into oncoming traffic. The van crashed into a 2007 Dodge Ram, with a 23 year-old Wyoming woman at the wheel.
He was extricated from the van by Georgetown Township firefighters and appeared to have minor injuries.
She went by Life EMS to St. Mary’s Hospital and was last reported in good condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
