Grand Valley State had mixed results on the hardwood yesterday. At the Fieldhouse Arena, Maddie Dailey scored 20 points as the Lakers downed visiting Lewis in women’s play, 72-57. In Indianapolis, Trevor Lakes had 23 points as the Greyhounds disposed of the visiting Lakers in men’s action, 95-71. On Friday evening, GVSU’s men travel to Cedarville and its women are home to Hillsdale.
In state major-college basketball yesterday, Clemson showed no mercy to visiting Detroit Mercy, 87-65. This evening, Michigan State entertains Charleston Southern, Central Michigan hosts Siena Heights, and Oakland welcomes Hartford to Rochester.
