HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities say a medical condition may have led to a Wednesday afternoon crash that sent three people to area hospitals.
It happened just before 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 13, 2019, police say, near Port Sheldon Street and 28th Avenue in Georgetown Township.
Investigators found a 63-year-old Hudsonville man, driving west on Port Sheldon appears to have suffered a medical incident, his car going through a red light and hitting a vehicle that had been northbound on 28th.
A 34-year-old Grant woman was driving the second vehicle, with a 3-year-old passenger. Everyone involved had been wearing safety belts.
Georgetown Township firefighters extricated the Hudsonville man. All three people went by Life Ambulance to an area hospital with what police called non-life-threateng injuries.
