UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM) – Delayed a day due to weather conditions, Holland Christian swept a pair of high school basketball games from city rival Holland last night by scores of 67-40 for the boys at the Heeringa Holland Civic Center and 51-34 for the girls at the Dutch Dome. Tomorrow evening, catch the West Ottawa at Hudsonville boys’ contest at 5:40 PM on 99 7 and 1450 WHTC.
Also last night, Black River’s girls fell at Ravenna, 39-19.

Hope College took a pair of basketball games from Adrian College last night. At DeVos Fieldhouse, Riley Lewis and Dennis Towns each scored 16 points in the Flying Dutchmen’s 77-70 victory. At the Kresge Gymnasium, Sydney Muller and Olivia Voskuil each had 14 points as the Flying Dutch scored a 65-51 road triumph. On Saturday afternoon, Hope’s teams take on Trine University, with the Flying Dutch in Angola and the Flying Dutchmen home in Holland.
