Other doubleheaders include Holland at Byron Center, Forest Hills Northern versus Holland Christian at the Heeringa Holland Civic Center, Zeeland West at Hamilton, Unity Christian at Zeeland East, and Black River at The Potter’s House Christian. Calvary’s boys entertain Heritage Christian at Holland Christian High, while Calvary’s girls are idle.

Grand Valley State split a pair of games in Houghton against Michigan Tech last night. In the opener, Jenn DeBoer tossed in 27 points as the visiting Lakers prevailed, 53-35. Isaac Appleby had 21 points and Dawson Bilski added 20 as the host Huskies took the men’s nightcap in overtime, 91-87. GVSU’s teams are in Marquette to battle the Northern Michigan Wildcats tomorrow afternoon.
In state major-college basketball last night, Michigan State won at Nebraska, 70-64. This evening, Eastern Michigan travels to Buffalo.
