HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The National Weather Service’s storm advisory for Sunday, covering central lower Michigan from 7 a.m. Sunday through 1 a.m. Monday, includes a stern warning:
“Widespread power outages are possible.”
The combination of up to 3 inches of snow and 60 mph winds would cause that, along with whiteout conditions. Area residents can anticipate an increased risk of tree damage from the winds, as well as difficult travel.
