HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A crash Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 sent a 35-year-old Walker woman to Spectrum Health Butterworth with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ottawa county Sheriff’s Sgt. Christie Wendt.
It happened just before 9:30 p.m. Friday at Lake Michigan Drive and Eighth Avenue in Tallmadge Township.
Deputies learned the 35-year-old Walker woman, turning south from Lake Michigan Drive onto Eighth, collided with a vehicle being driven by a 59-year-old Grand Rapids man who was going through the yellow light.
The Walker woman went by ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth wtih non-life-threatening injuries. The Grand Rapids man was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
