HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The beach hazards statement along Lake Michigan’s shoreline has been extended by the National Weather Service to Saturday morning for the following counties: Allegan, Ottawa, Muskegon, Mason, and Oceana. This applies to beachs from South Haven to Manistee.
High wave action — 3 to 5 feet — and strong currents could be life-threatening to people attempting to swim. The waves could sweep pier walkers into the water.
