HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Michigan Municipal League’s newly elected six members if its statewide League Board of Trustees now includes Holland Mayor Nancy De Boer.
Six new members were elected during the League’s Annual Meeting during 2018 Convention on Sept. 21, 2018, in Grand Rapids.
Other newly elected board members: Midland Council member Diane Brown Wilhelm; Boyne City Manager Michael Cain; Vassar City Manager Brian Chapman; Menominee Mayor Jean Stegeman; and Pontiac Mayor Deirdre Waterman. All terms will expire in 2021.
Michigan Municipal League advocates on behalf of its member communities in Lansing, Washington, D.C., and the courts; provides educational opportunities for elected and appointed municipal officials, and assists municipal leaders in administering services to their communities through League programs and services.
