GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – While just one 1.54 billion-dollar winning Mega Million lottery ticket was sold in South Carolina, there may be a couple of new millionaires in Michigan after last night’s drawing.
Two tickets in this state matched the five white balls drawn, with one sold in Mt. Pleasant, and the other south of Jenison. It’s the second such winning ticket sold at the Bricks convenience store off of 44th Street and 8th Avenue this month; the brand-new store had just opened at that corner earlier this year.
Another 13 players will receive ten-thousand dollars after matching four numbers and the Mega Ball number. There is another chance for big money tonight through the Michigan Lottery as the Powerball top prize is at an estimated 620 million dollars.
