HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Drivers will need to find a different route for eastbound I-196 at Byron Road (Exit 55) if they are on the road at between 9 p.m.-5 a.m. from Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, according to an email to the media from MDoT spokesman John Richard.
The detour is to exit at Bryon Road and turn left (west) onto Byron, then right on Main Avenue; right (east) on Chicago Drive (M-121) to Hudsonville or Jenison.
The road construction planned is weather dependent and could be delayed if the weather gets rough.
