HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A Jenison man landed in St. Mary’s Hospital emergency room after his car slammed through a stand of trees and into the porch of a home on Monday morning, Oct. 8, 2018.
It’s happened to Jenison resident Raymond Hafer, 35, just before 7:45 a.m. on Lake Michigan Drive near 56th Avenue in Allendale. His vehicle left the roadway, went over the curb, and through some trees before hitting the cement porch of the home. No one in the home was injured, Keuning said.
His vehicle traveled some 30 or 40 yards before the crash, according ot Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Cal Keuning. Hafer had been wearing a seatbelt and suffered what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Allendale Towing, Life EMS and GVSU police assisted Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies at the scene.
