HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Waterfront Holland is hosting a public open house this morning at Herrick District Library to give residents and business owners another opportunity to share ideas and thoughts about the future of the Holland waterfront, which includes the 16-acre James DeYoung power plant site.
Visitors will find map tables showing the waterfront in its entirety, with highlights of parks and industrial neighbors in the area; a timeline of the project and other educational materials.
One interactive section is especially for children, featuring markers and paper so they can draw pictures of their ideas and suggestions.
This open house is set for 9:30 to 11 a.m. today, Sat., Nov. 10, 2018, at Herrick District Library, 300 S. River Ave. in Holland.
