In boys’ play: Zeeland West is at Coopersville, with Greg Chandler’s coverage starting around 6:40 PM, depending on the JV’s, on 99 7 and 1450 WHTC. The same scenerio is at Saugatuck, where coverage of the Indians’ game with visiting Schoolcraft is also around 6:40 PM on the Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van, again depending on the length of the JV game. Other action finds Fennville at Lawton and Three Oaks River Valley at Black River.
In girls’ play: Godwin Heights is at Holland; Coopersville is at Zeeland West; Thornapple-Kellogg is at Hamilton; Saugatuck is at Schoolcraft; and Lawton is at Fennville. Last night, Black River defeated Covert, 50-29.

Dennis Cholowski, Dylan Larkin and Frans Nielsen scored the goals, while Jimmy Howard made 42 saves, as the Red Wings beat the visiting Los Angeles Kings at Little Caesars Arena last night, 3-1. Detroit plays the Capitals in Washington this evening; due to high school boys basketball coverage, our next Red Wings game on 99 7 and 1450 WHTC won’t be until Saturday night at 6:40 PM, when Detroit faces the New York Islanders in Brooklyn.
The Chicago Blackhawks skate in Winnipeg against the Jets this evening.

Joel Embiid tossed in 24 points in helping the Philadephia 76ers down the visiting Pistons last night, 116-102. Detroit travels to Charlotte for a game against the Hornets tomorrow evening.
De’Aaron Fox’ 25-point performance led the visiting Sacramento Kings past the Bulls at the United Center last night, 108-89. Chicago visits the Magic in Orlando on Thursday evening.
