HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity is breaking ground on its 149th Habitat home in Hudsonville, with the help of more than a dozen churches, according to a WZZM report.
Fifteen churches from the Classis Georgetown have members donating time and elbow grease to Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity for a “Unity Build,” helping a family of three living in a cramped apartment get some elbow room in a safer neighborhood — and save hundreds in housing costs.
The new home is on the southeast corner of 48th and Baldwin and is scheduled to begin at the end of August.
