HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Family and friends are mourning Amanda Vorabout, 26, killed in a Newaygo County motorcycle crash on Sunday.
The Holland resident is being remembered for her great heart and love for all around her. Her family says she loved her daughter more than anything, and enjoyed teaching her how to cook. Ms. Vorabout delighted in making others smile and pursuing adventure. She had been attending Tulip City Beauty College.
Friends have set up a GoFundMe account to help the family with expenses and support her daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Ahjali Keo Vorabout Atsaphanthong; parents Wanpen Penny Vorabout and Ketsana Vorabout; sisters Pamela Somsathian and Crystal Ann Vorabout; brother Alvin Mai Vorabout; and grandmother Wasana Burley.
She is also survived by her aunt Wasana Davis; uncle Jack Phongpool; niece Addyson Jade Somsathian; nephews Keilan Alijah, Kayson Tay, and Kenjin Chaylen Thik; nephews Kai Anthony Vorabout and Kalei Saiyouth Cates; niece Abriana Sue Cates; step-dad Darrel Tye Wolins; and brother-in-law Alex Thik.
