Thomas G. Fox, age 87, of Saugatuck passed away peacefully Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Faith Hospice of Trillium Woods.
Tom was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. He was an executive in corporate finance and leasing. He spent many hours gardening and going to the beach where he especially liked viewing the sunsets. Tom enjoyed being around his family, spending time with grandchildren, and dearly loved his wife Helen and his two daughters Kathy and Karen.
He was preceded in death by his parents Newell and Edna Fox.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen and children: Kathy and Jim Gonzales of Freeport, MI and Karen and Ray Sidebotham of Middleville, MI; grandchildren: James, Nick, Ellen and Evan; sister-in-laws: Josephine Banas, Eleanor Marker and Betty Krulac; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Faith Hospice of Trillium Woods for their outstanding care of Tom.
A funeral service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 100 St. Peter Drive in Douglas. Father Fabio Garzon will be officiating with Father Bill Zink participating. Burial will be in St. Cyril Methodius Church Cemetery in Wayland.
Visitation will be from 5-8 pm, Friday, February 14, 2020 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Saugatuck Chapel, 520 Lake Street in Saugatuck. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Faith Hospice of Trillium Woods and St. Peter Catholic Church.
