Shirley Beckman, age 83 of Holland, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019.
Shirley and her husband Stanley had been members of Grace Reformed Church. She worked in the public safety department at Hope College until her retirement after over 20 years of service. In their retirement, Shirley and Stanley enjoyed spending time at their summer home in Ludington.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Wilson and Katherine
Rottschafer.
She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Stanley;
Son Bill and Connie Beckman;
Daughter Cari Beckman;
Grandsons: Andrew Beckman,
Phillip and Kelly Beckman;
Great-granddaughter Savannah Beckman;
Sister Carol and Pete Kramer;
Niece Connie and Eric Sattler;
Nephew Paul and Jennifer Kramer.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 12:00pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services in Holland. Chaplain Barb Schreur will be officiating. The family will greet visitors beginning at 10:00am. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of Holland.
