MIAA Team GPA Award
Fourteen Hope College athletic teams have earned the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Team GPA Award for the 2018-19 school year.
The MIAA Team GPA Award is presented to conference athletic teams that achieve a 3.300 or better grade point average for an academic year. Grade point averages are calculated at the end of the academic year.
Six of Hope's seven MIAA champions during the 2018-19 school year also are MIAA Team GPA Award recipients.
The volleyball team, coached by Becky Schmidt, recorded Hope's top GPA at 3.72.
MIAA Academic Honor Roll
HOLLAND — The 2018-2019 Academic Honor Roll of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) includes 234 student-athletes from Hope College.
The academic awards program is administered by the faculty representatives of the MIAA member colleges.
The 29th annual Academic Honor Roll consists of student-athletes who maintained a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the year.
Among the Hope students named to the Honor Roll are 25 seniors who both lettered four years and achieved the academic distinction.
