LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The Disability Network Lakeshore out of Holland has received a 2015 Michigan Rehabilitation Services Champion Award. The agency was honored for demonstrating a strong commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities to take charge of their futures. In addition, Ty Cotey, a student at the MRS Michigan Career and Technical Institute in Plainwell, earned a Champion Award during today’s ceremonies in Lansing as a customer who is motivated and committed to find work. MRS annually assists more than seven thousand with disabilities statewide in getting jobs and being self-sufficient.
