Stephanie Harmsen, age 66, of Holland, Michigan, a source of Love, Compassion, and unwavering strength passed away on Sunday September 27, 2026.
She was born on May 21st, 1960 to Jim and Nancy Beauchamp in Indianapolis, Indiana, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years Scott Harmsen, her sister and brother-in-law Michele & Dan Dawson. Stephanie is also survived by sons Nate Zwit (Katelyn Zwit), Ian Zwit (Danielle Zwit), Eric Harmsen (Beth Harmsen), and Nick Harmsen (Marissa Harmsen). Her 7 grandchildren Cayden, Alexis, Clive, Mason, Bryce, Simon, and Hayden, with another on the way.
As a mother Stephanie showed her children boundless love and selflessness. She prioritized her children’s needs providing comfort and guidance through challenging times.
Stephanie’s role as a grandmother brought her immense joy. She showered her grandchildren with love creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday (October 14) at Summit Church, 15020 Stanton Street. Burial will be in Lakeshore Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday (October 13) at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to 2nd Chance Farm, a place that Stephanie really enjoyed volunteering at.
