ALLENDALE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 6, 2026) – Three persons were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Allendale on Monday evening which ended up involving a residence.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Alex DeJong, a westbound SUV on Pierce Street pulled into the path of a northbound SUV on 64th Avenue shortly after 7 PM. The impact of the subsequent collision caused the second vehicle to come up to rest against the house at the corner, pinning a 14-year-old Hudsonville girl driving the SUV, along with her 51-year-old father riding along. They had to be extricated and were taken to an undisclosed “area hospital” with minor injuries. Meanwhile, the 69-year-old Allendale man driving the other vehicle also went to an “area hospital” in serious but stable condition. There was no word on whether there was anyone inside of the residence at the time, or on how much damage was caused.
The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office or Ottawa County Silent Observer (877-887-4536).
