Aug 24 (Field Level Media) – San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested over the weekend in Ohio ontwo misdemeanor charges, multiple news outlets reported.
York, 46, was arrested on Sunday in East Palestine on counts of disorderlyconduct and possessing criminal tools, WKBN reported.
On Monday morning, York pleaded no contest to both charges and was sentencedto one day in the Columbiana County Jail on each count, to be servedconcurrently with credit for time served, and fined $1,150, according to courtrecords obtained by USA Today and WKBN.
York, a native of Youngstown, Ohio, has been CEO of the 49ers since December2008 and the team’s principal owner since 2024.
TMZ and the New York Post reported that prosecutors reduced York’s originalcharge of engaging in prostitution to misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
