it is with sadness that we share the news of the passing of Johnny (John) M Dorr. Johnny passed
on Monday, August 10th after a protracted battle with cancer.
Johnny was born in Douglas on May 25th , 1960 and lived in various places in Michigan with his
last residence in Holland.
Johnny is preceded in death by his father, John W Dorr, his mother Betty (Powers) (Strampel)
Dorr, and his grandparents Mary and Melbourne Powers.
Johnny is survived by his sister Mary E Dorr with whom he often relied upon throughout his life.
He is also survived by his brothers Dr. William Strampel, Dr. Michael Strampel, and Jay (Dorr)
Strampel.
Johnny also leaves his companion and caregiver for his final years Crystela Villegas. Johnny was
married to Cindy Seeback.
