Gary Lohman, age 76, of Zeeland went home to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, July 26, 2026, following complications from a subdural hematoma.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Carol, his daughter Stephanie and Jon Van Dam, his grandson JJ Van Dam, his siblings Bonnie and Terry Garvelink, Bev and Larry Grotenhuis, and Diane and Henry Kloosterman, and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mary Jo and Jim Huizenga.
Gary graduated from Hamilton High School and attended Davenport College. Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved being outdoors.
A private graveside service will be held in Zeeland Cemetery with Pastor Josh Harrington officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Living Hope Home Care, 11671 Finkbeiner Rd, Middleville, MI 49333 who provides care to his grandson JJ.
