Richard J. Beck, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, surrounded by family.
Richard “Red” Beck was born in Los Angeles, California. He was blessed with 43 years of marriage to Mary Ann (Fabiano) Beck. He took great pride in his sons, Kenny (Renae) Frens and James (Lydia); grandchildren & great-grandchildren. He was proud that he was a twin brother to Robert Beck. Red faithfully served his country for two tours of duty with the United States Coast Guard. Red was a professional bass fisherman and a golf “hacker”. Red will forever be remembered for his easy smile, kindness, wisdom, compassion and devotion to his family. He was loved by everyone that met him and he will truly be missed.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, July 13, from 9:00am to 10:45am, at the Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue, Holland. A funeral ceremony will take place following visitation at 11:00am at the Northwood Chapel. Reverend Russell Johnson officiating. Interment will take place in North Holland Cemetery.
