GRAND HAVEN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jun. 19, 2026) – A three-vehicle pileup on Thursday afternoon south of Grand Haven injured two of the drivers involved, along with four children.
First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Mercury Drive and Comstock Street around 2:50 PM. That was where a SUV going northwest, driven by a 23-year-old Muskegon woman, was attempting to make a left turn when it was struck by a southeast minivan, driven by a 44-year-old Grand Haven woman with four youths inside as passengers. The force of the collision caused one of the vehicles to veer into a stopped vehicle, driven by a 40-year-old Grand Haven woman, which was waiting for traffic to clear.
Those in the initial two vehicles were treated at the scene for bumps and bruises, while the driver of the stopped vehicle was not hurt. No names were disclosed as the incident remains under investigation.
